...getting ready....

I can't believe summer is almost over and school is weeks away. 
I love summer.
Spending time with my kids,
beach days,
late movie nights,
sleeping in,
summer nights on the deck.

But I am excited for a new year.
New students,
new families,
new memories.

I have decided on a new theme...
owls.
They are cute and colorful.
 We will be a class of little hoots.

I am ready to meet my new friends....

Beginnings

I can't believe it is almost Christmas.....
This is my favorite time of year.  I love the lights......I love the trees....I love the music.....
I love the whole magical feeling that comes with Christmas.

This year I am just so pooped!  When I finally get home for school I just can't stay awake.  I am asleep by 9 and that's not like me.  I am a night owl.

One of my partner teachers says it's age....Maybe it is.  I am 43 but I don't feel it.  I swear sometimes I forget I have two kids.  I think I'm still this young thing who can conquer the world.

I am off today to conquer house cleaning - OH YEA!!

But I will be sure and put the Christmas tree lights on and blast some music while I'm doing it.
